Green Hub gets a boost

April Greene — January 13, 2015

Our Green Hub project got a great boost recently when the Lower East Side Business Improvement District, our partners in the project, received funding from the New York State Regional Economic Development Councils 2014 Awards. The grant will permit a feasibility study of the project to proceed in the coming months, keeping it moving on a swift and positive trajectory.

Green Hub takes a monolithic parking structure on Essex and Delancey streets in Manhattan and shifts it into a lively neighborhood crossroads by introducing bicycle parking, a small cafe, community workspace, rooftop garden plots, and other relevant community spaces.

Learn more about Green Hub on our website, and we'll look forward to posting more about next steps soon.
