Participatory Planning Process and Locally-Produced Custom Furniture Combine for Comprehensive Workplace Overhaul
charity: water came to us with a serious challenge. After years of growth, they were adding more than 30 new staff members to their SoHo offices without increasing their real estate. Using our Sandbox toolkit, Pilot Projects collaborated with their leadership team to bring 50% more seats to their existing space while keeping operations running and morale high.
This was critical, as charity: water considers physical space key to staff happiness, performance, and their ability to attract and retain competitive talent. We were not only able to fit the new headcount with full buy-in, but several custom furniture pieces were designed for charity: water and manufactured in Brooklyn.
